Class Registration
You can register for cooking classes at any time. Simply choose classes from the catalog, add them to your virtual shopping basket, and then proceed to checkout as directed. Next, if you have already set up an account with us, you will be asked to login with your email address and password; if you don't have an account, you'll be instructed to set one up before continuing. After you submit your registration, you will be shown a screen with details of your order to review for accuracy. Please read carefully before clicking to finalize your order at either the top or bottom of the page. You will receive an automatic e-mail message confirming your registration.

*Please note that when registering online the email confirmation is the only confirmation that you will receive. Gift message notations are reserved for items purchased through the online store and are not applied to class registrations.

If you prefer, you can register by phone by call 503.233.4382. You can also download our printable registration form and mail or fax the completed form to us.

Important: Class admittance isn't guaranteed until you receive an email or postcard (for registrations submitted via mail-in, fax, or phone) confirmation. If the requested class is full you will receive confirmation indicating that you have been placed on a waitlist. Patrons on the waitlist will be contacted by phone if space becomes available. If you are unsure if your registration is complete, please contact us.

About the Classes:
  • Classes are taught using either a demonstration or a hands-on format. Hands-on classes are indicated by the words "Hands-On" in the title of the class.
  • Demonstration classes include tastings of each menu item, matching wines unless otherwise noted (an alternative beverage will be provide for our patrons under 21 years of age), and the recipes to take home.
  • Hands-on classes are limited in size to ensure that participants receive attentive instruction. Participants work alongside the instructors creating the courses listed on the class menu. Classes include a family-style dinner, matching wines, and the recipes to take home.
  • Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend early arrival if you would like group seating.
  • Class times do vary, so please note the start time of your class.
  • Instructors reserve the right to alter menus due to seasonal availability of ingredients.
Payment:
Credit card information is required to secure your registration, however, payment is made at the time of the class. Upon check-in for the class you may pay with a credit card, cash, check, or gift certificate.

Our Cancellation Policy:
If you must cancel for any reason, we will excuse you from payment or transfer you to another class if we receive notification of your cancellation at least 7 days prior to the class date.

Patrons will be charged for class registrations cancelled less than 7 calendar days prior to the class date, unless the class is sold out and we are able to sell your space. You may choose to send someone in your place. No exceptions to this policy.

The Kitchen reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. If a class is canceled, we will contact you by phone and, if you prefer, transfer you to another class.
