elcome to Caprial's Bistro in Westmoreland, Oregon, a neighborhood of Southeast Portland. Utilizing the freshest local ingredients Caprial's Bistro celebrates Northwest cuisine with passion and soul. The talented staff that includes Executive Chef Mark Dowers and Lunch Chef Larry Tavernetti turns out an acclaimed menu of ethnically influenced seasonal Northwest cuisine. The menu offerings are revised monthly to reflect seasonal changes and the artistry of the chef. In addition, daily specials are also offered.
Caprial and John Pence opened the Bistro in 1992 as a cozy 26-seat restaurant. A major remodel in 1998 transformed the Bistro into a 60-seat restaurant with an open kitchen, a full bar, and a private dining room perfect for special events and intimate cooking classes.
Add a dash of flavor to your culinary repertoire and sharpen your skills at one of Caprial and John's cooking classes. Classes are once again being held in the Bistro's private backroom, which allows for an intimate setting to sit back, relax, taste and learn. Offerings include both day and evening classes.
